Essential support for your learning

Off-the-shelf training without ongoing support can be a waste of time and money. The From Engineer to Manager programme builds high-quality support in from the start. We do this in a number of ways**:

  • Learners are positively encouraged to ask questions and share their experiences with the support of expert RapportTech staff. Every lesson in the online support programme has space for comments, discussion, and questions. All content is moderated to ensure it is relevant, useful, and supportive.
  • New material is added regularly based on industry developments, suggestions, and requests from programme members. If you think something is missing, please let us know.
  • The course structure is designed to support any mentoring process you have in place at work, and participants are actively encouraged and supported to find relevant mentors.

**1-2-1 coaching is available on request.

“I’d say differently if I thought so but I think this looks like exactly the kind of course I would have benefitted from 10 years ago - I’d still benefit from it now!”
 - Jonathan Stent, Production Director at Giro Engineering

What if the programme doesn't cover what I need?

You'll get tremendous value out of the programme, but of course, we can't cover every possible scenario.

If that's the case, please let us know. We'll also continually ask and check in with programme members to make sure you're getting what you need when you need it. In the first instance, we will respond 1-2-1 to help with your specific need (within 24 hours via email). We also welcome and actively encourage ideas for additional content. This is an important part of our commitment to provide genuinely useful support that extends well beyond the current course content.

You can also ask the community of people who have signed up for the same programme or post questions about the relevant lesson in the online learning system.

We're committed to making the programme as practical and useful as possible, and your help in doing so is a massive win-win towards that goal. If we haven't covered something you need, then there is almost certainly someone else out there who needs the same, and we'll always respond as effectively and quickly as reasonably possible to requests.

“Let me congratulate you on putting together such a comprehensive course. There isn't a single topic on there that I would recommend taking out - they are all really useful.”
 - Matrishvan Raval, Engineering Manager at McLaren Applied and visiting Design Professor at University of Leicester
